There is holi, diwali and yet another festival… National Festival of Youths… i.e. in short I can describe Youth Convention at Belur Math… Youths from all over India, devotees from various parts of world, and various distinguished maharajjis… Well that was the Mela (fair) at pilgrimage of holy trio with words of ‘YUGNAYAK’ Swami Vivekananda…

The 150th Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the Closing Ceremony in Belur Math is a great festival that i have enjoyed. I was a Volunteer in 125th Birth Anniversary of Swamiji in 1985 and it is my great luck that i was the Volunteer in 150th also. Last 32 years i am a Volunteer in Belur Math. I think it is my great fortune that i can give my Voluntary service to that Holy place. In this Convention i have seen specially the Youth are wanting Swami Vivekananda as their leader. Whole world are wanting Swamiji for rescue in their present trouble life.

I am fortunate enough to participate in the Devotees as well as Youth Convention I have enjoyed both the programme and learned many things. But one thing I must mention here that participation of Youth should have been more…………hope to see more youth participation during celebration of 200th birth anniversary
