On Jan 12, 2013, National Youth Day, Shri Abhinav Bindra, the First Indian to win an individual Gold Medal in the Olympic Games was invited as the Chief Guest, and Shri Akhil Kumar, Gold Medalist in Boxing in Asian Games, and Shri Sam Pitroda, Adviser to the Prime Minister of India on Public Information, Infrastructure and Innovations, were invited as Special Guests. On this occasion, two distinguished personalities – Shri V. Srinivas and Shri S. Jagannathan, were felicitated and presented a citation, for their outstanding contribution through their professional expertise, especially during Swamiji’s 150th Birthday celebrations. This occasion was also utilized for distribution of prizes to the seven winners of the GenNext Leader Discovery Contest-2012. The prize winners also addressed the audience for five minutes each.
