The Ramakrishna Ashrama organized the 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in Kathmandu on 12th January 2013 in a grand way at  Agrawal Bhavan, Kamol Pokhari, Kathmandu which was graced by the Hon President of Nepal as Chief Guest,  the Ambassador of India  as Guest of Honour and  other 500 eminent citizens of Kathmandu City.

National Youth Day Celebrations lasting two days (11 and 12 January 2013) at Melatala Ground was inaugurated by Swami Vishwanathanandaji by way of hoisting National Flag and garlanding Swami Vivekananda’s life size picture.
