Tribal Conference conducted by Ramakrishna Mission Cherrapunji (20 Locations)

These projects were organized at 20 different places in all the seven States of the North Eastern Region. 138 troupes consisting of about 1000 artists represented various ethnic groups through their cultural performances. The total no. of audience of these programmes was 7412. The concluding ceremony of the Regional Tribal and Folk Cultural Programme was held at Cherrapunjee on 30th March, 2013. Artists belonging to 30 groups coming from all the NE States performed and 1400 delegates participated in the daylong programme. Dr. DD Lapang, Chief Advisor, Govt. of Meghalaya, Dr. Donkupar Roy, Ex-chief Minister, Meghalaya were among the speakers. Most Revered Srimat Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj presided over the daylong function.
