The Ramakrishna Math, Pala, Kottayam District, Kerala organised a one day camp and district level inaugural ceremony on 21st September 2012 in connection with the 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The Sports and Youth Affairs department, Govt. of Kerala gave financial support for organising the programme. The Kottayam “Nattukootam”, a NGO for historical research, played a key role to conduct the programme. The Youth Awareness programme was held at the M.D. Seminary School, Kottayam of Marthoma Christian Sabha.
